MOUNT VERNON — Parma native Mike Gibbons thinks he should be the next U.S. Senator from Ohio because he believes in Tea Party principles, believes in and will work for the Trump agenda and is a successful businessman, not a professional politician.

Gibbons brought his campaign to Knox County Thursday, speaking to the Republican Women’s Club at The Alcove. He said he had been at The Alcove only once before — when he was a student and football player at Kenyon College and his parents came to town.
