FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Board of Education had its first meeting of the new year Tuesday and administered the oath of office to returning board members Patty Miller, Jim Blanchard, and Charles Streby.

The board moved into its organizational meeting by electing Streby as president and Candi Gallagher as vice president.

Committee appointments are as follows: Legislative Liaison Committee, Patty Miller, Policy Liaison Committee; Gallagher and Miller; Knox County Career Center Liaison, Todd McClay; Parks and Recreation Committee, Jim Blanchard; Fredericktown Community Development Committee, Superintendent Matthew Chrispin; and Business Advisory Council consisting of McClay and Streby.
