MOUNT VERNON — A Mount Vernon man barred from having weapons was sentenced to prison on charges that he possessed a firearm while on probation.

Conard R. Ferenbaugh, 49, was sentenced Friday by Knox County Common Pleas Judge Richard Wetzel to 30 months in prison on one count of having weapons under disability. The sentence included 17 months in prison, concurrent with the 30 months, on a probation violation.
