MOUNT VERNON — A Mount Vernon fire captain is on a 15-day “unpaid” suspension after exposing his anus in another firefighter’s face.

Capt. Michael Treisch was originally given an oral reprimand from Chief Chad Christopher for the incident that took place on Nov. 25, but after additional consideration, Safety-Service Director Joel Daniels decided the suspension was a more fitting punishment.

An internal investigation was started on Nov. 30, when the victim informed his superior officer of the assault. Details of the investigation were acquired by the News through a public records request.
