A check was presented to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday for $12,000 by Arms of an Angel for the purchase of a K-9, for use by the sheriff’s office.  From left, Capt. This is the third K-9 acquired through fundraising efforts of Arms of an Angel Foundation, with funding for the first two going to Mount Vernon Police Department. “The bulk of the donations were from area residents of $50 or less,” Culbertson said.
