BLADENSBURG — As Christmas draws closer, Bladensburg prepares for its 46th annual Christmas Parade, with this year’s theme being “A Lollipop Christmas.”

The parade will take place in Bladensburg on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. Anyone wishing to participate in the parade should meet at the former Bladensburg Elementary School by at least 1 p.m. to allow time for entries to get lined up, said Crystal Gallwitz, one of the parade organizers.
