SPARTA — The visiting Danville Blue Devils dominated on the boards on Wednesday night, but they were missing one thing: An offensive spark.

Then, late in the first quarter, Danville’s Lauren Mickley ignited, leading all scorers with 21 points. That helped lift Danville to a 59-36 win over the Highland Scots in Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference girls basketball action.
