ZANESVILLE — Friday’s Division VII Region 27 final features the proverbial irresistable force meeting the immovable object.

The Danville Blue Devils, known for their explosive offense, have yet reached this point mainly due to a stubborn defense, will meet the Hannibal River Pilots, winners of a pair of playoff games where they scored an average of 49 points per game.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Maysville Athletic Complex in Zanesville.

This is the Blue Devils’ third regional final in the past six years. They’ve been there eight times since 1999, winning three of them.
