MOUNT VERNON — The annual Knox County Food For The Hungry broadcast will be changing locations this year, moving from Mount Vernon City Hall to the Knox County Memorial Building.

“The move to the Memorial Building will continue to provide residents with a centralized, safe Mount Vernon location for food drop-off,” said FFTH Board President Joe Rinehart. “Additionally, the theater stage gives us a dedicated and flexible space for the broadcast and adequate seating for those wishing to bid on our live auctions. We are extremely grateful to Mayor Mavis and the City Hall staff for their tremendous hospitality over the years.”

The annual broadcast is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be broadcast live on WMVO (1300 AM and 100.9 FM) and video streamed live at MVNU.TV.

More details about the drive and broadcast will be available as the date draws closer and also at foodforthehungrycares.org.
