DANVILLE — The Danville Blue Devils came into Week 7 as the No. 1-ranked team in Division VII Region 27. They did nothing to dispel that with their performance on Friday night. The Blue Devils greeted the visiting Cardington- Lincoln Pirates with five touchdowns in the first half en route to a 41-6 victory in Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference football action.

Danville quarterback Skyler Durbin, the area’s toprated passer going into Friday’s game (153.0), threw firstquarter touchdown passes of 27 yards and two yards to Tyler Mickley to give the Blue Devils an early 14-0 lead. Danville would go on to finish the evening with 456 total yards.
