GALION — For years, people outside of Howard laughed at the thought of the East Knox Bulldogs being any kind of a threat.
After Friday, the only ones laughing are the Bulldogs.
Kadden Lester threw for 330 yards and five touchdowns, including an 89-yarder to Ethan Beckett with 2:03 to play that proved to be the game winner against Northmor. East Knox’s 32-28 victory gives the team a 7-0 record heading into the final stretch of the season.
“We knew coming in that a lot of people didn’t believe in us,” East Knox coach Cody Reese said. “You know what? It’s us against the world. We had to go out here and get the job done.”
