GAMBIER — Democratic statewide candidates will meet with the public on Saturday to discuss their positions and help bolster the Democratic stance.

The Ohio Democratic Party is supporting the Ohio Democratic County Chairs Association in their effort to host a series of informal candidate forums across the state including Saturday’s event in Gambier. A forum will take place at 3 p.m. with a meet and greet scheduled from 4:15-5 p.m. The event will take place at Rosse Hall, 105 College Drive, on the campus of Kenyon College.

Those invited to attend include:
•Connie Pillich, candidate for governor;
•Joe Schiavoni, candidate for governor;
•Betty Sutton, candidate for governor;
•Nan Whaley, candidate for governor;
•Kathleen Clyde, candidate for secretary of state;
•Steve Dettelbach, candidate for attorney general;
•Rob Richardson, candidate for state treasurer; and
•Zack Space, candidate for state auditor.
