HOWARD — The East Knox Bulldogs relished their 6-0 start just until the postgame huddle.

When head coach Cody Reese asked what their goal was for the next week, the players responded in unison: “7-0!”

East Knox had arguably its best all-around performance all season long against the struggling Centerburg Trojans in Friday’s Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference game. Kadden Lester threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns, two Bulldog receivers caught for more than 100 yards, and the East Knox defense pitched its second shutout in three weeks with a 34-0 victory over Centerburg.
