FREDERICKTOWN — During Tuesday’s Fredericktown school board meeting, Superintendent Matt Chrispin announced The Local History Service Department at the Ohio History Connection has approved Fredericktown Local Schools’ application for an Ohio Historical Marker. The district was also one of 10 (out of 31) applicants to receive a $750 grant to be applied towards the historical marker.

“The jacket is iconic and the bronze marker will be titled ‘Home of the FFA Jacket’ to highlight the district’s contribution to the national FFA organization,” Chrispin said.
