MOUNT VERNON — Despite threatening skies earlier in the afternoon, a host of people made their way to South Main Street for First Friday’s Farm Friday.
Lining out Main Street, from the Public Square to Gambier Street, were 51 booths. Some were handing out samples, some were selling products, and organizations were passing out information.
On display were vintage tractors and modern farm behemoths, along side draft horses, ponies and cattle. One person was even walking a pig on a leash.
