MOUNT VERNON — Brian Howe Family Dentistry is collecting cleaning supplies for “Cleaning Buckets” at 812 Coshocton Avenue for Hurricane Harvey relief. Howe Dentistry is cooperating with UMCOR.org and the Gay Street United Methodist Church in the project.

Items that can be donated include clean 5-gallon buckets with resealable lids, and the following items must be new: liquid laundry detergent (25 or 50 ounce bottles); liquid household cleaner (12-16 ounce); dish soap (16-28 ounce); clothespins (50 count); clothesline (50 or 100 feet); sponges; heavy-duty trash bags (33-45 gallons); cleaning wipes; insect repellant spray (6-14 ounce); kitchen dishwashing gloves; work gloves (cotton or leather); scouring pads (without soap built in); scrub brushes (plastic or wood handle); and dust masks.
