MOUNT VERNON — Over $4 million was returned to entities in Knox County as part of a reimbursement program through the Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation.

In July, Mount Vernon received a rebate of $129,935 and Knox County received a rebate of $184,407.13. Also receiving rebates were the townships, villages, school districts and fire and EMS districts.

Knox County was listed as receiving a total of $4.2 million in rebates.
