DANVILLE — A Danville landmark is closing its doors.

Longsinger Pharmacy, 10 E. Main St., will lock up for good on Wednesday.

“I find it progressively more difficult to make a profit,” said Lonsinger Pharmacy owner Eric Siekkinen. “It’s just the complexity of insurance contracts and government regulations have made the job more than one person can handle. While I have good help, I don’t have enough help to do what I’m required to do.
