HOWARD — At first glance, Cody Reese doesn’t appear to be your typical football coach.

He’s taller but thinner than most of his players. He cheers when they execute in practice. He instructs, but he’ll take a moment to joke with his players.

But, by the time practice broke Monday night, the East Knox Bulldogs had learned a lot in one day.

“There was a lot of crisp execution and instruction,” Reese said. “We (the coaches) were all very pleased with the first practice.”
