MOUNT VERNON — In June, the YMCA, in partnership with the Knox County OSU Extension Office, launched and conducted a four-week enrichment series focused on the arts and humanities.

Nick Clark, YMCA executive director, said the initial sessions were a success. The activites were led by OSU Extension Educator Andrea Rees and included bottle rockets, making homemade ice cream, slippery slime and kitchen chemistry.
