Fred Main/News Chase Nichols took his final ride in a Mid-Ohio Paving truck down the streets of Centerburg with hundreds of family and friends Thursday. Nichols, a 2003 graduate of Centerburg and the Knox County Career Center, died Saturday when he was electrocuted trying to free his Mid-Ohio Paving dump truck from downed power lines on Bennington Chapel Road. Nearly 100 vehicles, including almost 20 work vehicles with some from as far away as Sandusky, were involved in the funeral procession from the Centerburg Church of Christ to Eastview Cemetery.
