Project will plug water issues

The village of Danville is about ready to begin work on the wastewater treatment facility after additional infiltration issues within the system will be addressed.
Bids on the trenchless sewer repair project were awarded recently and there may be some residual money left over from a $140,000 Ohio Environmental Protection Agency grant to apply to other storm sewer issues, according to Danville Mayor Bob Dile.

Roger Curtis Spearman

Roger Curtis Spearman, 89, of Howard, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 31, 1927, in Miller Twp. Knox County, to the late John and Eska (Buskirk) Spearman.
Roger graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1945 and joined the United States Army Air Corps serving in the Philippines.
