MOUNT VERNON — Maria Koriduzki, 89, of Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Brookdale Senior Living in Mount Vernon with her loving family by her side. She was born in White Russia on March 4, 1928, to the late Alexander and Nadia Rutkowski.
Maria met the love of her life, Boris and they both moved to Ohio after World War II. She worked as a domestic engineer for several predominant families in Mount Vernon for many years. After retiring she would join her husband at the Station Break.
Maria attended Brandon Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flower garden, and had a wonderful touch for taking care of them. Maria raised four wonderful daughters that will miss her very much, but love the fact that she is with her Boris up in heaven.
She is survived by her daughters, Tamara (Douglas) Flinn of Centerburg, Nina (Terry) Ricket of Florida, Galina Koriduzki of Michigan, and Olga (Frank) Ellis of Howard; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; step-sisters, Tonya Graves of Mount Vernon, Galena Weiskittel of Arizona and Anna Rutkowsky of New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Boris Koriduzki; brothers, John Rutkowski, Pete Rutkowski; and sister-in-law, Agnes Rutkowski.
Calling hours will be held Monday, July 17, from 5-7 p.m., at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, with a funeral service on Tuesday, July 18, at 10 a.m., with Pastor John Idione officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
