MOUNT VERNON — Attorneys representing the East Knox Board of Education recently filed a motion asking the Knox County Common Pleas Court to dismiss Brian Farmer’s most recent attempt to block the sale of the Bladensburg school property to the Bladensburg Community Heritage Foundation.

The school board’s response states that the court dismissed Farmer’s previous complaint on May 18, 2016, and the allegations in his latest filing are essentially the same as those in the prior complaint and the same as those which the Fifth Appellate District dismissed twice and which the Ohio Supreme Court twice declined.
