HARTFORD — Make your plans now to attend the “Old Time Movie on the Square” in Hartford. Friday, July 21, is the date and 5:30 p.m. is the starting time, for the annual Chinese Auction; winners of items to be announced before start of the movie.

The movie, which will begin at dusk, is “Nim’s Island,” starring Jodie Foster. This is a family movie, not a cartoon. It is entertainment for all ages, 4 years old to 100 years of age.

There will be food, fun, face painting, and an unusual auction, plus a chance to see and chat with people you haven’t seen for a while.
Tickets for the auction are available.

In case of inclement weather, alternate site is Croton Church of Christ, 40 S. Main St., Hartford.
