MOUNT VERNON — Enjoying a vacation is one thing, but getting there can be hectic if you are in unknown territory.

This is where a travel agent can be handy. Travel agents are the ones mapping out all the little nuances of a trip so that the ones actually going can enjoy themselves with little hassle.

“My favorite part about my job is helping people make their memories,” said Rachel Campbell, travel agent for AAA of Mount Vernon.

In order to be a travel agent, a person needs to have an eye for detail and the forethought to be able to think ahead about the questions a client might ask or details about their trip they may not necessarily be aware of.
