•Every day — Family Life Counseling & Psychiatric Services — a private nonprofit mental health and substance abuse agency — will be available. Medicaid and Medicare approved and accepting most insurance. To schedule or more information, call 1-419-774-9969
•Every Wednesday — American Health Network/Dr. Elder available, 9 a.m. to noon. •July 13 — WIC Clinic available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. WIC is a nutrition education program providing healthy supplemental foods for expectant and/or nursing mothers as well as families with infants and children up to age 5 who live in Knox county and meet the liberal income guidelines. Contact 392-2200 to schedule. Mention the Danville site when scheduling. Children needing immunizations may schedule an appointment to coincide with the immunization schedule.
•July 13 — Infant and childhood immunizations available from 3-5 p.m. Appointment is suggested. Call 740-599-7224 to schedule. Bring the child’s immunization record. All children starting school in the fall as well as Head Start and daycare require immunizations be current. Any questions regarding a child’s immunization record, contact Knox County Health Department at 392-2200. Serving all families in East Knox and Danville school districts. There is no charge for the immunizations but if possible, a $15 service fee per visit. No one will be denied immunization due to inability to pay.
