SPARTA — It was a bit of a shaky start for the Mid-Ohio Bullets 10-under baseball team, but the defense quickly took over. Then the bats went to work.

After allowing the first three batters of the game to score, the Bullets routed the Pickerington Big Katz, 14-4, in COYBL action at Highland High School on Tuesday.

Bullets’ pitcher Toby Rogers went the distance in a 5-inning, run rule shortened game. He allowed three earned runs and struck out three, while allowing only one walk and five hits.
