Pam Schehl/News Construction has begun on the outdoor learning center at Columbia Elementary. The pavilion is being built by Columbia Elementary “graduate” Logan Kaufman and his crew for his Eagle Scout project. The pavilion will be 24-by-48 feet and 9 feet high, large enough for two classrooms. One end will be enclosed for storage, and have two doors and a serving window. Plans call for electricity and water to be available, and a sink and kitchen area as well.
