MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Educational Service Center treasurer Brittany Keller told the board on Wednesday the House version of the state budget includes a minimum $2 per pupil cut in the funds allotted to educational services centers. If the Ohio Senate retains the measure, KCESC could lose more than $16,000 in state funds.

Keller said the Auditor of State’s Office has also announced that over the next three years it will be conducting comprehensive performance audits of all ESCs beginning July 1, and the ESCs will have to pay for said audit.
