MOUNT VERNON — On Saturday, May 6, the first, and hopefully annual, Mother-Son Dance will be held in the Community Foundation Pavilion at Ariel Foundation Park, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Dance coordinator Katie Jackson, along with two other mothers in Mount Vernon, created the event as a way for our community to express and promote the special bond that exists between mothers and sons.
