SPARTA — Trailing late in a pressure-packed game that would give the team an outright league title, what was the East Knox baseball team doing? Biting their fingernails? Pacing back and forth across the dugout?

Nope, they were dancing, of course.

A quick 30-second shower turned the Bulldog dugout in a dance floor, as the whole team started doing its version of a rain dance. The loose Bulldog squad knew that the final few innings were theirs, as comebacks had become a regular part of the game.

Sure enough, that’s what happened. The Bulldogs made another comeback, rallying for four runs in the sixth inning to top the host Highland Scots, 6-3, and capture the Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference title all for themselves.
