CENTERBURG — The Fredericktown Freddies marched 16 batters to the plate in an 11-run, nine-hit outburst in the fourth inning, highlighted by a Chylese Cluck grand slam homer. The Freddies backed their offensive barrage with errorless defense and a seven-hitter by pitcher Morgan Mowery to thump the host Centerburg Trojans, 16-1, in a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference win.

Cluck, who was 5-for-5 in the game, drove in six runs, with five coming in the Freddies’ fourth. She scored in both of her fourth-inning at bats, totaling three runs scored for the day.

Even though her fourth inning blast sailed well past the left field fence, she wasn’t quite sure she got all of it.
