My husband and I are huge steak fans. But, I guess that isn’t saying much, due to the fact that nearly every American shares the same opinion: Steaks are delicious. But when it comes to actually cooking steaks, my culinary skills don’t particularly shine. I usually end up serving over-cooked, beef hockey pucks. So, whenever it’s steak night at the Poole house, I gladly pass my apron to my husband, Jay, who has been successfully cooking steaks for over a decade.
“I remember I started cooking steaks when I was in high school,” Jay said. “My father had (in his youth) worked at a steakhouse and he was kind of the first person to introduce me to steaks.”
