EVANSTON, Ill. — Perhaps the most memorable scene so far this college basketball season has been the Northwestern Wildcats defeating Michigan on a buzzer beater last month.

Watch it again. Look carefully.

There’s a Mount Vernon kid in the shot.

Tad Glibert was with the team as an assistant when the buzzer sounded. More recently, he celebrated with them again, as he watched with the team this past weekend when Northwestern was selected for its first NCAA tournament appearance.
