UTICA — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a 4-year-old girl Tuesday morning.

According to the Granville Post, a 2006 pick-up, driven by Danny L. Scott Jr., 32, Gambier, was eastbound on U.S. 62, near Ohio 13, when it collided head-on with a westbound 2007 pick-up driven by Ronald L. Goldsberry, 63, of Croton.

Scott’s daughter, Lailah, a passenger in his vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said. Both drivers were transported to Licking Memorial Hospital via ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
