MOUNT VERNON — Nancy Sue Burch, 67, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 13, 2017, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1949, in Mount Vernon, and was the daughter to the late Orley Leon and Ruth Virginia (Snyder) Stevens.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Kenneth Clayton (Pamela) Burch of Marion, George Leon (Darlene) Burch of Fredericktown and Christina Lynn (Andrew) Blackwell of Ragley, La.; a brother, Gary (Naspa) Stevens of Fredericktown; two sisters, Mary Jo (Bob) Corcoran of Mount Vernon and Charlotte Butts of Danville; 12 grandchildren, Matthew, Dylan, Brianne and Logan Burch; Micah and Zachary Blackwell; Dillon Esteph, Andrew Blackwell Jr., Brandon, Brittney, Brett and Dustin Ketter; and a great-grandson, Isaac Honaker.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Michael Davis, in 2007.

Friends may call Thursday, from 5-7 p.m., at Lasater Funeral Home, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, at 11 a.m., in Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
