Virgil Shipley/News It wasn’t much, just a fire in a trash can at 10:07 a.m. Friday, where dirty laundry is stored at the rear of the Bob Evans Restaurant on Coshocton Avenue. The fireman is holding up what looks like an apron after a few squirts of water doused the fire. The department is investigating the cause.

Virgil Shipley/News The lonely traffic cone sitting on an island in the Five Points intersection of North Main Street, Wooster Road and Mansfield Avenue marks the location of the traffic signal pole that was knocked down about 2 a.m. Thursday. Stop signs and flashing lights will control traffic for an undetermined about of time.

Traffic through the Five Points intersection at North Main Street, Wooster Road and Mansfield Road will have to deal with stop signs and flashing lights for an undetermined amount of time, as the result of a car wreck early Thursday morning.
