MOUNT VERNON — As of Tuesday, the Vine Street Barber Shop, formerly located at 10 W. Vine St., has opened up shop just across the alley from the original location. The Fraternal Order of Eagles building, 12 W. Vine St., will serve as the barber shop’s new permanent location.

Colin Pack is the current owner of the Vine Street Barber Shop. He has worked as barber at the shop since 2006 and bought the business in 2008. Despite his love for the shop’s original location, Pack is prepared to move the business, due to the reconstruction taking place in the area.
