DANVILLE — Nancy Ann Hamm, 83, of Danville, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 23, 1933, in Danville, to the late Joseph Levi and Donna Elizabeth (Emerick) Colopy.

Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Danville High School. She worked for 33 years at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. She enjoyed her kids, grandkids, and time spent with her card club.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Barb) Hamm of Mount Vernon, Bonnie Szuch of Phoenix, Ariz., Dennis (Angie) Hamm of Brownsville, Texas, Doug (Julie) Hamm of Mansfield, and Kim (Rob) Householder of New Albany; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Faith Ridgway; two brothers, Joseph A. and A. David Colopy; and her former husband, Byron Hamm.

A memorial service, followed by a reception in the basement, will be held Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at 1 p.m., at the Danville United Methodist Church, 408 S. Market St., Danville, OH 43014.
