Lackey joins Utica council

Chris Lackey was sworn in as the newest member of Utica Village Council at the monthly meeting of council Monday evening. Lackey, who grew up in the Utica area and has lived in the village for 16 years, fills the void left by John Stone who resigned. Lackey took his oath while being sworn in by Utica Mayor Lester Grennell.

Joshua Morrison/News On Monday, Wiggin Street Elementary first-graders performed three traditional Christmas songs, “Must Be Santa,” “Star Light, Star Bright” and “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas” for parents and friends at a packed Rosse Hall on the Kenyon College Campus in Gambier. The elementary school performed the program “With All My Heart” which included songs like “Jingle Bells,” “Auld Lang Syne” and ended with “Song of Peace.”
