COLUMBUS — Johnstown had five players chosen to the 2016 Division IV All-Ohio football team, which was released on Tuesday as voted on by media members.

The Johnnies’ high-scoring offense was represented by two players, senior lineman Jeff Nogaj and senior running back Justin Franklin. Nogaj (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) has committed to play football for Iowa State University.

Johnstown’s defense wasn’t ignored either, as lineman Brandon Siegfried was also a First-Team selection. Siegfried is a 6-5, 195-pound senior.

Two more Johnnies landed on the Second Team, defensive lineman Hunter Alley and punter Cody Workman. Alley is a 6-5, 205-pound senior, and Workman is a 5-11, 165-pound senior.

Highland running back Jared Limings, a 5-10, 200-pound senior, was chosen to the Second Team, and senior lineman Zach Baker was named Special Mention.

Each player was previously named to the Central District First Team.
