SPARTA — They hadn’t played a game in 10 days, and it showed — but only for a few minutes.

Once they got going, the Highland Scots were back to their old form, tossing perfect passes and dominating in the paint.

Jett Swetland was the most dominant. The area scoring leader put up 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in his team’s 64-44 home victory over Ridgedale in a key Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference game Friday.

The victory gives the Scots (6-1) first place in the Blue Division by virtue of percentage points over Centerburg (7-2).
