Williams cruised to first place, as expected, in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.97.

Williams picked up an individual second place in the 100-yard backstroke, where he clocked in at 1:01.03. Mount Vernon coach Josh Kline put Williams in that event as a challenge, knowing that it was his weakest event, and he responded.
