HOWARD — As expected, the Danville Blue Devils won the Mid-Buckeye Conference golf title on Monday.
And as expected, Danville freshman Brayden Baldridge was the medalist.
But, sometimes, a performance has to be seen to be believed.
Baldridge’s 3-under 69 at Apple Valley Golf Course led the Blue Devils to victory. He was 2-under after No. 4 and 4-under after 17. Baldridge’s only blemish was a bogey on No. 18, one of the hardest holes in Knox County.
