Poff , et al, defendants. This action has been assigned case number 09FR01-0127 and is pending in the Court of Common Pleas of Knox County, Ohio at Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
The object of the complaint is to foreclose several mortgages of plaintiff and to foreclose all interest owned by you against real estate owned by you located at 202 Market Street, Danville, Ohio 43014 . A full legal desxcriptiom of the properyt may be obtained from the Auditor and is also in the Cross clam filed in the pending case.
You are required to answer the complaint within 28 days after the last publication of this notice which will be published once each week for three successive weeks. The last publication will be made April 27, 2009 and the 28 days for answer will commence on the date.
In case of your failure to answer or otherwise respond as required by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the complaint.

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Knox County Board of Commissioners located at 117 East High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, Ohio until 10:30a.m. on July 23, 2009, for the Heart of Ohio Trail, Bridge 1 and 2 Project set forth in the plans and specifications on file in the above office. At the time herein before mentioned and at the above-indicated office, sealed bids will be publicly opened and read. Work to be performed is described in the contract documents and generally consist of the following:

The proposed work in Contract No. 001 includes; Two (2) existing railroad bridge deck replacements with precast concrete deck panels and safety railing. Bridge No. 1 approximately 58 ft. in length and Bridge No 2 approximately 110 ft. in length.

The estimated cost for this project is $117,587.00.

All proposals shall be sealed and endorsed for Heart of Ohio Trail, Bridge 1 and 2, and mailed or delivered to the Knox County Board of Commissioners, 117 East High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Proposals are to be on blanks furnished in the Contract Documents and included with the specifications.

A $75.00 non-refundable deposit will be required for each set of drawings, specifications, and contract documents, plus $10.00 for shipping expenses if required. Checks for bidding documents should be made payable to ADR & Associates, Ltd.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a bond with an approved surety company as surety for the execution of the contract. The bid guaranty and contract bond shall be for the full amount of the bid proposal and in the form as contained in the contract documents. Alternately, a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the revised code, in the amount of 10 percent of the bid will be accepted as a bid guaranty. Each proposal must contain the full name and address of every person or company interested in the same.

A Pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00p.m. on July 9, 2009, at the Knox County Board of Commissioner’s Office, 117 East High Street, Suite 161, Mount Vernon, Ohio. It is recommended that all bidders attend the pre-bid conference: however, non-attendance at pre-bid conference does not preclude Contractor from submitting bid.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities. All bids will be considered based on lowest and best bid including any combinations of alternates chosen by the owner.
